Look, this is not something that should surprise us especially about Dem reps. The bills are done mostly by aides and researched in the Library of Congress and lobbying agencies. The one thing we do know is that all Dem reps know generalities about global warming, gun control, abortion, anti-military stances, and of course, higher taxes. To that extent, Dems always know what their general bills will be like. Too bad the Pubs can't write and speak non-legalize and explain their views and bills so that the masses would actually understand just how evil and misguided the Dems are in their 'generalities'.

I know it's bad form to engage in armchair psychoanalysis, but Rep. McCarthy's tragic loss of her husband, as motivation for the intensity of her control-freakishness, is both understandable -- and treatable in a therapeutic sense. She reminds me of how Carrie Nation put the whole country through the extended agony of Prohibition (instead of having a good cry or 20) because of her husband's drinking. Or of angry men who take out their personal frustrations on everyone EXCEPT whoever caused them, spreading misery for all, mindless, and certainly careless, of the consequences of their actions.
I know such views are unpopular and VERRY un-P.C., but, IMO, somebody's gotta say it.

This bill H.R. 1022 is pure insanity - The Democrats seem to forget we are suppose to be citizens and not their subjects. Lets address crime and punish those offenders but trying to punish the citizens is absurd. I do not understand these gross assaults on us when we have other problems to address. There are more people killed by doctors than legally owned guns. I think this women is drunk with power and some what unstable. I hope she gets help before she redefines democracy into lunacy.
