Was very very happy to note that the GOP candidate for my district's house seat (NY 24 open by Boehlert's retirement), RAy Meier is a recipient of Rightroots support. Meier is a superb candidate and significantly more conservative that Boehlert, who was a member of Main Street America, the moderate wing of the GOP. This district fielded a conservative candidate to run against Boehlert in 2004 and between the two garnered almost 70% of the district's votes. We should be able to send a more conservative representative to congress easily.
