Wow, that web site looks so realistic. How much did it cost the RNC?

sounds good...
polls are really amusing, especially when they ask for a generic 'approval', it all seems meaningless...
and yet, liberal Democrats and the biased MSM focused so intensely upon the lower numbers, it must be concerning to them, they cannot keep them down.
especially with this fall in the balance, when Democrats historically should pick up something substantial...
they certainly try to forget about the historic high 'approval' ratings, above 90% some time ago, in regards to this President.
wonder what this President's generic 'approval' average would be, over the years served compared with others in a similar time frame?

RNC doesn't pay Rasmussen. I know that Lee is a Democrat who thinks everyone can be bought, but Scott doesn't play that way. He'd rather be known for being dead on accurate.

a plurality of people still strongly disapprove, and less than 25% strongly approve. sounds like he is doing a great job.
if you want to look at his job approval ratings, there are lots of graphs out there tracking it on all polls over all time. basically it was flat, it spiked after 9/11, it fell back, it spiked when the war started, and it has been in free fall since then.

Rasmussen is a reasonable pollster. Did you know that, at least for the Presidential election in 2004, they didn't use standard polling techniques?

Unfortunately, I see this as only a reflection of 'immigration reform' not being on the front page as often these last several weeks. Once the MSM realize that their exposing of national secrets is only backfiring on them, they will refocus on immigration again and the numbers will slip again.

So, Bush's poll numbers are a whopping 44 percent, and the conservatives are so impressed!!! Boy, it doesn't take much to impress conservatives, as we've known since 2000.
But I wouldn't get too giddy, conservatives. The Chimp will always come back to reminding people just how stupid he is, and that can't help poll ratings (as not everyone is conservative). Why just the other day, Your Fearless Leader had this to say:
"If you want your taxes low, keep Denny Hastert and Bill Frist as leaders of the House and the Senate."
and
"I want to thank you for helping make sure that Denny Hastert and Bill Frist remain in their positions in the Senate and the House,..."
George W. Bush, June, 2006
Now I realize that a lot of conservatives look up to Bush with regards to intelligence, and so won't find anything stupid in what Bush has said. Thus, I'll give you conservatives a hint: it's been known for months now that one of the two Republican congressional leaders isn't running for re-election. Upon further reflection, I realize that this hint will still not be enough for you. Okay, another hint: of the two people named, the guy not running for re-election does not have the initials "D.H."
Once you figure out just who isn't running for re-election, could you please inform the Moron-in-Chief that you installed and are responsible for???

Wow . . . seeing how the moonbats sputter and curse with Bush's approval rising at all, even to only 44%, I can only imagine the meltdown they will go into if he cracks 50% again.
Someone should explain to Herman that both Frist and Hastert do, in fact, "remain" in their leadership posts. But do thank him for the spectacle of seeing a moron attempt a "gotcha" . . . public schools, I take it . . .

Sigh.
Someone should explain to Adorjan that while Hastert's leadership position as House Speaker depends on the efforts of others to "make sure" (Bush's words) that the Republicans maintain control of the house after the election, Frist's leadership position is merely temporary: by January 2007 he will be completely gone from the Senate, Bush's desire to "keep" him there so as to ensure reduced taxation notwithstanding.
Frist himself has made clear for months now that he has no intention of "keeping" both his leadership role and Senate seat by running for re-election. (One wonders what Frist was thinking as he was hearing Bush speak). Adorjan, I recommend that you have one of your teachers explain to you what the word "retire" means.

I don't know the merit of taking the statistical outlier of all polls as evidence of a bounce. If anything, the bounce is just people forgetting what they were angry about before. I think overall he is up about 3~3.5 points the last 3 weeks, which is more drift than bounce.
